Q: What is the difference between the products offered on this Web site and the commercial versions of these products?
A: Nothing. Aside from the price, these products are functionally identical to the commercial versions. As a student, you are eligible to purchase one copy of each software title at educational discounts.
Q: Is this software a legal, licensed copy?
A: Yes. We are an authorized education reseller for the products listed on this Web site. We specialize in the secondary and post-secondary school market, offering software at educational discounts to qualified students, faculty and schools in the European Union. Once you register your software, you will be in full compliance with software copyright regulations.
Q: Who is qualified to buy software through your Web site?
A: Registered students, active faculty members or academic institutions can qualify for educational pricing. Details about eligibility are listet in the description of every product. Students that have graduated or are no longer registered as active will NOT be able to purchase software at educational pricing. We also carry some non-academic products, which are available to anyone. These products are identified with an N at the end of their item number.
Q: Do I need to send my academic ID every time I place an order?
A: We keep your academic ID on file. The ID is valid until the expiration date indicated. If your ID does not have a specific expiration date, it will be valid during the current dated semester or school year printed on the ID. Should your Student ID be non-dated then a class schedule would provide better verification of enrollment.
Example: If the ID states Spring 07 you can order until the beginning of Fall 07 semester, at which time you will need to send in Fall 07 verification. ID s dated 06/07 will be current from Sept 1, 2006 to Sept 1, 2007.
Q: When can I expect delivery of my order?
A: Orders are normally shipped within 48 hours of your order being placed as long a current academic ID is on file and the item is in stock. The standard ship method is DHL delivery. Courier time frames do not include holidays or weekend days in their service transit times.
